Lonestar Energy Storage Solutions
Wind and solar are now the cheapest electricity on Earth — but only when they're flowing. Storage is the missing piece, and the storage industry's answer so far has been lithium-ion: expensive, finite, and stretched across fragile global supply chains.
Lonestar Energy Storage Solutions takes a different path.
Our patented NaK–halogen fuel cell stores electrical energy as two simple liquid fuels: a sodium–potassium alloy and a halogen (chlorine or bromine). The fuels combine in a fuel cell to deliver clean direct-current electricity on demand. When the sun returns or the wind picks up, the spent salt mixture is electroplated back into the original fuels — a closed loop that runs as long as the grid does.
The result is grid-scale storage built on materials the world has in inexhaustible supply, at a fraction of the cost of batteries, with shelf life measured in years instead of months.
No lithium. No cobalt. No strategic materials. Just chemistry that works.
